Accomodation

To the existing nine dormitories a new dormitory has been added in Aug 2009. Girls are accompanied in the well ventilated and furnished dormitories constructed on modern lines. There are two houses in each dormitory accommodating about 45 girls in each house. Each house is named after an important river of the country and supervised by a House teacher. House teachers & Wardens accompany the girls in the Dormitory. Each house has a full time ayah who helps in maintaining the house clean. All the dormitories and students’ mess are equipped with solar water heating system to ensure hot water availability. All dormitories have been provided with adequate solar lighting facility which acts as a backup.

We have four types of quarters to accommodate our various staff members. We have CLASS ‘A’ , CLASS ‘B’, CLASS ‘C’ and CLASS ‘D’ quarters. 35 well furnished staff quarters for staff members and 4 VIP guest houses.  6 ‘C’ type quarters are under construction.

DORMITORY

Dining Hall:

The dining hall has been expanded to accommodate additional 300 students. At a given time more than 1000 students and staff dine together. This is exactly on the pattern existing at National defence academy, Pune;an institution of its only kind in the whole of Asia. Nutritious and wholesome vegetarian meal is provided in the mess. The mess is supervised by an experienced and qualified Mess Manager. High standard of hygiene is maintained and varied menu is provided regularly. MILK and KASHAYI is also provided daily.
