KRCRS signs MOU (Memorandum of Understanding) with the U.S. based educational institutions CARLTON PUBLIC SCHOOL (CPS) MICHIGAN, USA & SAGINAW VALLEY STATE (SVSU) UNIVERSITY, MICHIGAN, USA.

The purpose of this MOU is to facilitate co-operation between COE SVSU, OUR SCHOOL & CPS to promote International understanding and friendship. These goals will be accomplished through the following activities:

  • Faculty and Teachers exchange will be arranged to provide professional development, develop curriculum and instructional strategies, share teaching and learning approaches that are considered “Best practices”.
  • Faculty and Teachers will work jointly on curriculum alignment with the State [Karnataka] and the National [India] standards with the intent of the progress.
  • Faculty and Teachers will conduct joint research projects and collaborate on publication of an annual journal documenting their progress.
  • The COE, KRCIRSG & CPS will develop the website information describing the content and the activities of the partnership.
  • SVSU & CPS will aid in the formation of a KRCIRSG Alumni Association for those KRCIRSG Graduates living in the USA.

A special hall was dedicated in the memory of Kittur Rani Chennamma at SVSU, USA on 12th Dec 2008 in which our Chairman Dr. Mahendra.Kanthi led a distinguished team consisting of the Chief Minister & a team of other Minister’s.

Dr.Gilbertson, The President of SVSU along with many professors and academicians from these two institutions visited our school in July 2008.

Professor David Cline visited our school in June 2009.

Our students are becoming familiar with the Global environment regarding academic, Educational and Social lifestyle. In the coming years it will help our students to step out of India confidently and efficiently.

A new committee with Dr. Mahendra Kanthi as the chairman and Shri Mahantesh Koujalagi as the Member-Secretary has formed to manage the affairs of the School.

Mr. M.S.DESHPANDE took over the charge as the Principal of the School on 5th January 2009.

Smt. Kasturi Angadi was appointed as the new Head-Mistress of the School on 1st June 2007.

Mrs.Saraswathi.Hegde who has earlier worked as an acting Principal to our school is now appointed as “Director of PU College Section”. Contact No: 08288-286350

      The students were welcomed after the school reopened on 1st June 2009.

      Various literary competition were conducted such as poem recitation in Kannada, Hindi and English and extempore speech in English and Kannada.

      Students of std VI and VII had been an excursion to various places, such as Sogal, Gokak falls etc.,

      Students at PUC I year and STD X attended sainik camps at Belgaum and Dharwad.

      Bridge Course in English is conducted for the students of Std VI.

      Parents come to visit their children on second Sundays and discuss the difficulties, problems of their children with the House-Teachers as well as the Class-Teachers and the Head-Mistress.

      The 21st Century is characterized by high speed change and challenging competition. To equip students at KRCRS to handle these challenges they are educated through a curriculum which has the right mix of academics, creativity and character. This approach nurtures the specific talents of the student. In the process learning becomes fun.

      The school aims at high Academic performance. The school has a record of best academics results both at tenth standard and PUC II year public examination successively. The school has got great reward from Karnataka Government for 100% result. The students weak in studies will be given extra coaching. Study assignments are conducted in the afternoon and in the evening.
