General Information
- School Routine : The daily routine on working days extends from 5-30 am to 10-30 pm. Time is allotted to academic training, physical training, games and other co-curricular activities, self recreation and organized self-study. Certain free time is provided when the students can rest , study or play indoor games as per their choice. The holiday routine also provides for a few hours of organized self-study.
- Examinations and Progress Report : Tests are held monthly in all academic subjects in addition to Terminal Examinations in the later part of the September for standard X and three trimester Examinations for class VI-IX as per schedule. A detail report of students’ performance from VI-IX in all field during the preceding term is shown to the parents. In case of students studying in standard X, PUC I, PUC II the reports are sent to the parents twice a year in October and February. In addition test reports are sent to the parents in case the child fails. Promotion of the child is based on her performance in the three Trisemester Examinations as per the rules.
- Visiting Days : Parents and only those authorized by the parent are permitted to visit their children once in a month on the second Sunday between 8.00 am to 5.00 pm. Visits on other days are not permissible. Parents/visitors are not permitted to visit the dormitories even on visiting days.
- Leave of Absence: Students are not entitled to any type of leave other than the two vacations and are not permitted to go to their homes except on extreme necessity during the school session and that too only with the written permission of the Principal.
- School Uniforms and Personal Clothing: Items of clothing and personal kit which are required to be worn as uniform for all students are provided by the school. Other items of clothing and necessaries have to be provided by the parents. The parents should ensure that the students while returning to the school, after every vacation are in possession of all the items required to be provided by them.
- Jewellery and Valuables : Students are not permitted to keep cash, jewellery, watches or other valuables in their possession. Parents should ensure that their children do not bring such items to the school and should also not provide them with any money. No money should be sent/given to the students. Parcels, if any, must be addressed to the Principal and not to the students directly.
Arrangements for Traveling during Vacation: The parents are required to collect the students from the school on the commencement of vacation and to bring them back to the school at the end of the vacation.
